  • Asana & Alignment: Comprehensive pose breakdowns focusing on functional alignment, intelligent cueing, modifications and adjustments for diverse body types.

  • Functional Anatomy & Physiology: Study of the skeletal, muscular, and respiratory systems, injury prevention, and physical mechanics applied directly to yoga postures.

  • Teaching Methodology & Sequencing: Practical training on building seamless class sequences, developing an authentic voice, pacing, and holding space with confidence.

  • Philosophy, History & Ethics: Overview of yoga history and philosophy, breathwork (Pranayama), meditation practices, and ethical student-teacher dynamics.

  • Practicum & Student Teaching: Hands-on teaching practice with real-time peer feedback and mentor evaluation to build practical readiness.

  • Professional Development & Business: Guidance on navigating the studio landscape, liability, and establishing a professional path.

Program Overview

Primary Goal. Deepen personal practice, master posture mechanics, and develop confident teaching skills.

In-person weekly meetings on 1 weeknight (6pm - 8pm) and Saturdays (9:30am - 1:30pm)
