Frequently Asked Questions: Studio Transition & Move to Tomball

We know you have questions as we prepare to close our current studio in Spring and get ready to open our beautiful new location in Tomball. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support during this exciting (and sometimes unpredictable!) transition.

Below are answers to some common questions from our members:

1. Why is there a delay in opening the new Tomball studio?

Our construction and permitting process has taken longer than expected due to factors outside of our control. We’re working closely with our contractors and the county to ensure everything meets safety and design standards before we open. While we know it’s frustrating to wait, we promise it’ll be worth it — the new space will be everything you love about our current studio and so much more.

2. When will the new studio officially open?

We don’t have a firm date just yet, but we’ll keep you updated every step of the way. As soon as we have an official opening date, our members will be the first to know via email, social media, and website updates.

3. What happens to my current yoga membership or class package?

All active memberships and unused active class credits will transfer seamlessly to our new Tomball location. You won’t lose any remaining value — we’re making sure your investment carries forward when we reopen.

4. Will my membership be charged while the studio is closed?

No. We’ll pause all active memberships during the temporary closure so you’re not charged for time when we’re unable to offer classes. Once we reopen, your membership will automatically reactivate.

5. What can we look forward to at the new studio?

So much! In addition to a beautiful yoga space, we’ll be introducing Pilates (including Reformer classes) and a craft café where you can relax, connect, or grab a post-class latte. It’s designed to be a true wellness hub for the Tomball community.

6. How can I stay in the loop about updates and opening announcements?

We’ll keep you updated through:

  • Email (make sure we have your current email on file!)

  • Instagram + Facebook

  • Our website CollectiveHouston.com

7. Will you have mat storage and loaner mats?

We won’t have room for mat storage at our new facility, so please remember to bring your own mat to class for Yoga and Mat classes. Due to the higher volume of classes on the schedule, we won’t be offering loaner mats, as it is challenging to allow these mats to dry fully between classes.

8. What else do I need to know?

Our studio policies have been updated. Review them HERE.

Some important notes are:

  • Late Cancel policy

  • No-Show

  • Late Arrival policy

  • Unattended Children Policy

For safety and flow, these policies will be enforced to provide the best experience for everyone.

We’re so grateful for your patience and continued trust.
This transition is a big step toward creating an even better community space for Yoga, Pilates, and connection — and we can’t wait to welcome you home again soon.
